Birds are vulnerable to collisions caused by light attraction and reflections in windows. Come learn how you can take concrete action to reduce the risk by being thoughtful about lighting and treating windows, both at home and at the office. Visitors will meet Adrian Gall, President and Director of Research at ABR, Inc., and Bryan Lenz, Glass Collisions Program Director at the American Bird Conservancy, to learn how they study bird movements, especially at night, to better understand the risk of collision. We will also discuss working with communities to reduce risks to birds by adjusting lighting, treating glass, and rescuing birds that are downed by collisions or light attraction.
