Are you a teen who is 17 going on 18 or already 18 years old? Learn about your right to vote and how to register with help from teen volunteers at New Voters at our Central Library. In order to register to vote, you must: Be a United States Citizen. Be at least 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election (March 17, 2026) and turn 18 on or before the date of the General or Consolidated Election (November 3, 2026).16-year-olds may preregister to vote. Live in your election precinct
