The Waukegan Park District is hosting a Sugar Skull Decorating Workshop on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 12pm to 1pm at the Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie, located at 1 N. Sheridan Road. Celebrate Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) and decorate your own “calavera de azúcar” (sugar skull) to take home. The workshops are in partnership with the Lake County Cultural Association NFP.
